Rewriting Life

Retrograded

I’m not going to pretend I’m knowledgable about the cosmogonic cycles of life, but I feel I should pay more attention to them.  Having been informed about the Mercury retrograde cycle, I couldn’t help think about how the events in my life somehow seem to fit– It’s like some of those horoscope that seem too eerily true to ignore.  I’m writing, and rewriting some pieces, while attempting to truly understand what ‘balance’ in my life looks like.  In the past I’ve commented on my disdain for the rewriting process before, but it seems I’ve recently come to really understand, appreciate and enjoy it.

MERCURY RETROGRADE is a time period to check and revise your life and connection with reality.  Mercury, which is said to rule how we think, has an orbit that at times gets ahead of the Sun allowing us to look into the future toward new and creative ideas.

Often our ‘life’ revisions may surprise or take us back a step however, these steps are merely a course correction, and offer a window of opportunity to review our situations. During this ever-shifting, confusing time of revision, a lot of new ideas attempted during this period will ultimately be taken back or even revised further, resulting in a high-frustration time.  Yet it is for the sake of improved communication and clarity.

During a Mercury retrograde, the state to be in  is one of “non-reaction”, and ‘information gathering’.  Because the information will be in flux, the task will seem difficult. Waiting for changes to stop before restoring order is key.  Allow the winds of change to  blow and once Mercury turns direct, review the information in your presence and then begin to restore order while remaining flexible.

Now that the winds have shifted, it is time for me to restore order…  Again folks, I’m not going to pretend I know exactly what this all means, because clearly I don’t have all the answers.  However, I’ve paid enough attention, and observed life well enough to acquire some clarity about what the next best thing to do may be, which is essentially: Keep Calm And Carry On.

Taken from Astrologer Bill Attride:

So as Mercury turns, you will turn too…

Turn and acknowledge…

You love yourself.

Then, turn and tell your beloved…

You love them too.

Heal your mind…mend our hearts.

For you are all ones of the One…

Who holds one and all in an everlasting Love.
